Building Moon Base – NASA’s Next Mission Alpha – Space Colonization 1
What Is Moon Base?
Manned space missions are less than decades-limited to Earth’s orbit, but NASA wants to change it. After talking about the moon and missions in general words about returning to Mars, the agency has released several objectives to get us there. It starts with expanding commercial launch capabilities, continues on a moon base, and finally ends with a crew attack on Mars. Although the level of alkaline musk of overconfidence is not expected. All this begins with the change in NASA and the rest of the rest. The commercial crew program is the first step, SpaceX and Boeing are expected that they will start taking astronauts to the International Space Station in the next one or two years. By approximately 2025 this is the first step in transition for a non-NASA operating model for all or parts of the ISS. NASA also sees a role for herself in facilitating the development of more public-private missions in the Earth’s orbit. NASA plans to exit the Space Station game. The widest portion of the newly released timeline covers NASA’s return to the moon. It has been almost 50 years for people to go to the moon, and we have discovered only six sites during the 16 days. The new lunar exploration will be very different. NASA plans to build a moon base by 2023. Currently, this base is called “The Gateway” so that its status can be represented as the entrance to the rest of the solar system. It will consist of four parts: power and propulsion, habit and utility, logistics and robot arm, and an airlock. Power and Propulsion module is already under construction facilities across America. It will launch in 2022, and the live modules will start one year later. NASA plans to close the last two modules in 2024. Building and servicing Gateway will use a combination of private vehicles and NASA Space Launch System (SLS). First of all, the gateway will house only one of the four crew for 30-day orbital missions. NASA will eventually equip the base with a lander which can descend to the moon surface. Before returning to the gateway, allowing astronauts to travel regularly. This facility will also serve NASA’s next goal: a place to jump for Mars. There are fewer details on NASA’s plans for the Red Planet. It is still planning to get a new Mars Rover in 2020, and who will notify the agency’s decision in the future. In general, NASA hopes to have a robot return mission many years before moving ahead on human-driven missions. It is still planned for the 2030s. It is very far from Elon Musk’s 2028 Mars Colony but is probably much more realistic.
How Moon Base Mission Will Be Executed By Nasa
Next year, astronaut Mathias Mourer expected to walk on the lunar surface, but a rocket flight, zero-gravity nausea and without the constraints of a risky landing. Instead, he will walk near the house in a leafy grassland near Cologne, Germany, which is ready to host the biggest moon mock-up till now. A pit of artificial lunar dust that covered more than 1,000 square meters, is Mourer and other scientists will be connected to the crane-and-pulley system that allows them to leap to experience weak gravity of the moon and Works under the adjustable lamps that mimic the light, various lunar sites. Occasionally, they will be out of the moon-style living quarters: an airlock-connected module size of a shipping container. This is an exciting playground to test the moon technology, says Morar, who is a project manager for the multimillion-euro facility. Called LUNA is, in mock-up Cologne is taking shape outside the European Astronaut Center, with funding from the European Space Agency (ESA) and the German Aerospace Center (DLR). But at the age of 48, Mourer did not know whether he would put his skills to use on the real text. “Hopefully I will make it before retirement. Technically, I believe it is possible that I will still be walking on the moon, “he says. Mourer’s optimism is not completely finished. In the last mission of NASA’s Apollo program, it was only two of the last time a person left the US astronaut Eugène Séran for the last time. No space agencies have so far given the money to send people back. But, as a result of partially changing political priorities, speed is rising for human withdrawal on the Moon. Rather than running Apollo missions again, space agencies are gradually heating the idea of establishing a permanent settlement.
Is Building Moon Base Economic?
Man dreams of leaving Earth and travelling through the Milky Way. But we were born very soon to be part of it. Or were we? The reality is, we can start our dream today by building Moon Base. We actually have NASA’s technology and current estimates and the private sector says it can be done in approximately 20 to 40 billion dollars, which spreads in about a decade. Price is equal to Germany’s international space station or budget surplus in 2017. This is not really big investment. The payment will be overwhelming. Moon is a sandbox for developing new technologies and exploiting unlimited resources. It will start a new space race and will lay the foundation for the solar system and its spread outside. It will create a vast array of new technologies to benefit us on earth and we will all be part of it. So, why are not we doing this? Well, sadly, governments interested in long-term investment in the future of humanity are hard to get. Let’s imagine, just are. If we start today, how will we build a moon base? Throughout history, the colonization took place: In the first phase of the era of the discovery of the New World, for example, European monarchs funded campaigns to complete charts and search and their claims. They planted a flag and set up a camp, but they were not. In the second phase, small missions were set up to establish chawki and settlements, which were still very dependent on their domestic countries for supply. Some failed, but the other survived and established a permanent presence.
Only then, in the third phase, true colonization was built, so that the tradesman and the labourer could create huge wealth and opportunities for himself and his family, and send back huge money back into the country of their country. When we colonize the Moon, we will go through the same three steps. This time, without killing millions of innocent people in this process. The moon is not a welcome place for living things. A moon day lasts for 29 days, in which there is a difference of 300 degrees Celsius between sunlight and shadow. The meteorite, large and small, or cosmic radiation, we have no environment to mould. Worse, the moon surface is covered in a layer of dirty toothed dust. The moon is rigid. But we are good at doing hard things. In the first phase of the lunar colonization, our searchers proved that it can be reached to a new world. This face began with Apollo missions 60 years ago. Since then, satellites like the American anti-moon orbiter have mapped the Moon, while the Chinese Yutu-like rovers studied the structure of the lunar surface. Looking for water, ice and metals. The phase is less than one or more full. We know what we should know to enter phase two. In the second phase, astronauts will build the first moon base and it can start from today. The first small moon base could be completed in a decade. The first nation that establishes this base, will be like the first countries that make up a post in the new world 500 years ago. Sending rockets on the moon is expensive.
What If We Build Moon Base Today
So we will send as little as possible. The base will be light, the crew for more than 12 will be slightly more than inflatable housing and will be positioned somewhere with natural shelter. Options include caves, such as an underground lava tube tunnel, or a crater near the pillars, where the days are six months long. These astronauts will not stay for a long time. There is the possibility of leaving the dwellings in the middle of the mission because solar panels can not generate electricity during the night. But they will do the groundwork to make humans able to live permanently. Our first crew will include scientists and engineers who will study the structure of the moon and whose methods will be used to find ways to use available moon material. Suppose that to purify the lunar ice and convert it into the water for human use. And more important than drinking water. They can use it to experiment with growing plants for food. Hydrogen fuel cells will store electricity through long nights, expanding the days of astronauts. And most importantly: it can be divided into hydrogen and oxygen. rocket fuel! By planting water from the Moon and putting it into orbit, the moon base will supply an orbital depot. Where the scientific mission of Mars and outer Solar System can be fueled again. Finding things in the Moon’s orbit is much easier and cheaper than Earth. The colonel means Mars can start with the Moon. But this is not a true colony, not yet. If the fund stops, the base will be abandoned. If we want our base to grow in the third phase, in a true colony, we should be self-sufficient, then the earth will get support through export.
How Will Moon Base Help People?
Now, private contractors are looking to get rich from the moons and support services. If the production of rocket fuel in the space is cheaper, what else can they achieve? They can remove precious metals, abundant in impact craters and other raw materials from the lunar resolute. A promising possibility is mining of Helium-3, an isotope which can be used one day at nuclear fusion reactors, some Chinese lunar exploration programs are currently watching. Future colonists can export Helium-3 back to Earth, which provides us with cheap and clean fusion energy. Asteroids can be drawn into the Moon’s orbit and can be mined. With commercial exports to Earth, the colony is fully productive in its third phase, self-sufficient and economically productive. Our base will start using Chandra material in its construction projects if it is constantly growing. Fortunately, there are all the essential elements to make concrete in the Moon soil. Robotic mining leak can lunar dust for organic molecules and it can be used on a large scale to bring large structures from the Earth. While progress in 3D printing, it will make it possible for almost everything to produce which crew needs. It is difficult to say when the colony becomes self-reliant. Development is gradual, experiments are replaced by industry, and the population reaches hundreds of times, which includes more than just scientists. Engineers, pilots and contractors representing the countries and corporations will be present. Two of these people will be successful. Not scientific, but social They will be their first supernatural child.
When Will Be Building Moon Base Started?
Throughout history, the birth of the first child was celebrated as a moment where the seeds of a colony eventually took root and irreversibly. Here, it means that the moon is not just a place for scientists and engineers to work, it is a place for people to live, raise a family. Once this infection occurs, the colony grows rapidly, all the necessary things to build more housing and schools and fields and to support the growing population. As our colony grows, all new technologies will be invented to maintain it. They can develop crops that reuse carbon dioxide or develop with very little water. They can find ways to recycle and reuse 100% of their waste, techniques that are extremely valuable to the Earth. They could also make the first space elevator in the solar system. With a space lift, spacecraft, astronauts and raw materials can be brought back and forth from the rocket orbits, without the need to use rockets. The moon can become a scale of economic activity, which is hard to imagine. It is difficult to say who will be the owner of the colony at this point. Will the first person born on the Moon takes national recognition of his parents, or will a new generation melt together in a new moon society? And when the existing treaties that any nation is repeatedly compelled to be a master of the moon, will the colonialists be called one? Will they announce independence from Earth? Although this happens, the Moon is an ideal sandbox for learning how to colonize the Solar System, which integrates the right project nations, and is the only way to guarantee our existence as a species, something on Earth Should be tragic If we ever want to make the colony of Milky Way, then we have to start somewhere. So why not start there? Why not start now?
